Popeye's catering was very smooth and great. Beer orders also smooth through Natasha. The only thing was to make sure Abate's bring their receipts for individual orders.
Overall Evaluation:
Actual CT Folk Festival was great, but only one person showed up at HGS gate. Next year, if we are doing this, maybe we can only plan to spend about 2-3 hours at the CT Folk Festival. Publicity could have also been better, but given that it was in the beginning of the year, there were many other events at the same time and therefore is generally harder to publicize. Post-event reception was mostly a success, where we had some students bringing in guitars and sang along a tune. Lots of mingling happened throughout the event. We had one issue with the booking of the space that conflicted with the Hall of Graduate Studies Residence Staff, who also did a sushi social. Some spilled over to our reception.
